Journey of Days
Dawn
Even
at an early
age, I knew better than
to tell a lie or try to hide
from light
Midday
As Mom
delivering
instruction to her girls
who listened more the less she says
insight
Twilight
Oma
writes now,
weaving wisps of story
into the fabric of spun dreams
for night
Day Break
Breakfast
together, still,
hand and hand, silent smiles
sufficient illumination
today

I love what you have done here. This is the first autumn where I have felt myself swept up in the seasons of our own lifetimes. Must be my age showing. I like being at this point.
I find I am grateful for each point, actually. And besides – so much writing material piled high – all I have to do is turn and take a look. Smiles – seasons rolling on and on…
As beautiful as it is Heartbreaking Oma.
Please don’t worry, though You may be separated for a moment, the two of You will be together again. He’s just paving the way.
